Manufacturing Production Worker - Job Description

The Manufacturing Production Worker is a multi-functional role that is responsible for setting up and operating equipment in the process of fabricating metal building parts or assembling metal roll-up doors or operation of other metal-forming type machines. Forklift experience is a plus. This is an entry level role with training provided and growth opportunities. Applicants must have a safety-first mindset and maintain world class quality standards in a diverse, fast paced work environment.

• Operate machinery used in the production process for the assembly line.
• Set up tooling, load programs, and set machine parameters.
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the position.
• Load and unload items from machines and carts; band finished product.
• Build wood crates and packaging for finished metal products.
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
• Mark parts for identification.
• Measure length and work with tight tolerances.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work within a diverse workforce.
• Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure within 1/16th of an inch.
• Attention to detail with a desire to produce high quality and accurate work in a safe manner.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Strength and Stamina:
  Production workers must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods doing repetitive motions.
• Due to business necessity and safety concerns, employees must be proficient in English.

$17.00/Hour
