Position Overview
The Panel Machine Operator Road Crew is a multi‑functional role responsible for setting up and operating equipment in the fabrication of metal building parts and operating other metal‑forming machines. The position requires up to 50% travel on the road to job sites throughout the United States. A valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last five years are required;
experience driving an over‑size truck or commercial vehicle is a plus.

Authorization to work in the United States and the ability to efficiently communicate in English are required. - Adhere to all plant/company safety protocols.
- Effectively communicate, follow instructions, and work well with others.
- Perform pre‑shift inspection of machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Perform the required set‑up and start‑up of machinery and equipment.
- Gather all necessary paperwork for the work to be performed.
- Verify that all required tools and raw materials are present and ready for use.
- Configure the machine control unit to perform the required function.
- Assist other team members with moving material and loading finished goods onto pallets.
- Monitor the machine for proper performance and the raw materials for quality and consistency.
- Prepare documentation containing notes and details of work performed.
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
- Metal roofing or building construction (Preferred)
- Driving large vehicles (Preferred)
- Must walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. over 100 feet.
- Tolerate required PPE (safety hat, vest, glasses, shoes, hearing protection when necessary).
- Work longer than 8 hours when required.
- Work outdoors when required.
- Read a tape measure to within 1/16th of an inch.
- Speak and write English proficiently for business necessity and safety.
- Must live within a reasonable commute to Blackshear, GA.
Pay: $18 – $20 per hour, depending upon experience.
