Job Details
Starting Base Salary: $19.00 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift 5:00pm through 3:30am Monday-Friday (Saturday based on business need)
Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final inspections on window components and assemblies using measuring tools and visual standards
- Document and report inspection findings and non-conformances; escape critical issues to supervisors and managers
- Conduct audits on raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality-related issues
- Use gauges, calipers, tape measures, and other tools to verify measurements and tolerances
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality data
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and promote best practices
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean, and Kaizen events
- Assist with training new employees on quality procedures and inspection techniques
- Support the standardization of the department through the creation and revision of procedural documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality inspection or technician role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality systems a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Able to use basic measurement equipment and computer systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
