Quality Assurance Technician 2nd Shift

Job Details

Starting Base Salary: $19.00 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift 5:00pm through 3:30am Monday-Friday (Saturday based on business need)

• Perform in-process and final inspections on window components and assemblies using measuring tools and visual standards
• Document and report inspection findings and non-conformances; escape critical issues to supervisors and managers
• Conduct audits on raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality-related issues
• Use gauges, calipers, tape measures, and other tools to verify measurements and tolerances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality data
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and promote best practices
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean, and Kaizen events
• Assist with training new employees on quality procedures and inspection techniques
• Support the standardization of the department through the creation and revision of procedural documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a quality inspection or technician role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality systems a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Able to use basic measurement equipment and computer systems
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
