Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Select appropriate welding techniques, tools, and materials for assigned tasks.
Perform welding, cutting, and joining of metals using MIG, TIG, SMAW, or other welding methods.
Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
Maintain and clean welding equipment, tools, and work areas.
Follow safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and adherence to HSSE standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
Identify and report defects, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
Requirements- Proven experience as a welder in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Certification or Degree in welding (GTI or equivalent) or related field.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, or flux‑cored welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of metal properties and welding safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
