Shift: 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM (2-2-3 shift rotation)

Responsibilities
  • Make minor repairs to equipment such as replacement of lube wands and cleaning filters.
  • Monitor and maintain all lubrication equipment, ensuring proper levels of lubricant are being dispersed.
  • Monitor the system to ensure proper levels of resin are made available on each line.
  • Make up resin/regrind mix as required.
  • Pull tape onto floor if tape feeders are not available, to remove any obstructions from the tape path.
  • Make minor repairs to feed equipment, such as tightening loose rolls or adjusting feed rate to maintain proper tension.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Know and understand the material requirements (e.g., colorant, cable, tape) for each product being produced during the assigned shift.
  • Review the manufacturing order at the beginning of each shift to determine what materials are required.
  • Complete appropriate documentation to ensure accurate inventory transaction.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • At least 1 year of equipment/machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment (plastic extrusion experience a plus!).
  • Familiarity with using common measuring devices and hand tools.
  • Experience with following work instructions and performing basic math calculations to track product quality.
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts and other equipment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects.
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE as necessary.
  • Stand and walk long distances on the plant floor for 8 to 12 hours on a shift and work around hot machinery.
  • Occasional climbing, reaching, squatting, and bending to operate and fix equipment.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position will typically range from $18.25 /hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.

Benefits include healthcare coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid company holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick time, parental leave, short- and long-term disability leave, and an employee assistance program.

Referral Bonus

$500 after 90 days and $1000 after 180 days, totaling $1,500.00 for a candidate that is hired.

Work Environment

Manufacturing, non-climate controlled, variable temperatures, team oriented, on-the-job training.
