The Sanitation Worker is responsible for the removal of raw products and solid waste from food contact surfaces to properly clean and sanitize the production facility area/grounds, and equipment.

• Remove solid waste and raw products from production facility floors, food contact surfaces, and containers.
• Cover and protect all sensitive with canvas/plastic covers.
• Preparatory rinsing of all food contact surfaces.
• Apply cleaning chemicals to all machinery.
• Use centralized and/or portable foaming systems.
• Rinse and remove cleaning chemicals.
• Operate forklift for chemical transportation and trash disposal.
• Help disassemble deep cleaning equipment.
• Apply heavy‑duty chemicals to break down accumulated sugars.
• Apply concentrated sanitizer to walls and overhead.
• Inspecttheir respiratormask, filters, and report defectsin a timely manner.
• Other assigned duties and/or projects to support business needs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• High School Diploma/GED or six months to one year of experience in related field or combination of both education and experience.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Must be reliable, responsible, dependable, and be able to fulfill obligations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and high‑pressure environment.
• Work as a team and follow instructions.

• Forklift Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• One to two years of experience in related field

• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3‑point contact on a regular basis
• Environmentalexposurehot/humid conditions (95 ° or above).
• Environmental exposure cold/wet conditions (40 ° or below)
• Material exposure – moving mechanical parts
• Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry between 50 to 55 lbs.
• Ability to stand forlong periodsof time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces
• Ability to stoop, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis
• Ability to use hands and arms to grasp, manipulate, and handle objects in one position for an extended period.
• Ability to successfully wear a full face and half face respirator mask for extended periods of time

• 3rd (TBD) Monday through Saturday; rotating days off, when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory. Hours are approximate and will vary.
