The primary responsibility of this position is keep Embrex machine working. Any duties outside of these duties and responsibilities are paid hourly including vinegar cycle performed on machines.

• Set up machines and run AM and PM cycles daily on both machines
• Run vinegar cycle and QC machines weekly
• Monitor all incubators, hatchers and hallways on schedule
• Monitor crew and ensure proper procedures are being met
• Label Flocks and ensure they are correct
• Be able to perform light maintenance on machines
• Help transfer when necessary
• Be able to back up vaccine mixer
• Keep embrex room clean and orderly
• Train embrex personnel
• Keep hallways cleaned during process
• Help dispose of clear eggs throughout the day
• Fill in for Buggy washer and machine washer if necessary
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by hatchery manager

• Frequently: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching.

• Wet Floors

• Safety Glasses
• Rubber Gloves
• Bump Cap

• Know how to use and locate the emergency stop switch.
• Know location of primary and secondary emergency exits.
• Know and use proper lifting techniques.
