Production Control Spec Specialist
Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC – Georgia Plant
Join us to help support production control within a leading automotive parts company that supplies chassis, cockpit, and front‑end modules to the KIA Georgia factory. The role focuses on resolving specification issues, engineering change orders, and ensuring accurate materials and data across ERP and MES systems.
SummaryAccomplish day‑to‑day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals, uphold safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives, and promote core values within a union‑free environment.
Responsibilities- Provide solutions and alternative methods for resolving incorrect specifications within the production line or unexpected production plan changes.
- Create Master List and cross‑check with Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) and the ERP (SAP) Master List.
- Create Material Master and add new materials into ERP (SAP).
- Update new FSC (Full Spec Code) for both Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Master Data.
- Conduct monthly BOM accuracy checks on ERP (SAP) and actual materials.
- Coordinate weekly Engineering Change Order meetings.
- Receive and distribute Engineering Change Order information via EBOM and Expected Point of Implementation (EPI) System.
- Determine EPI date and inform related departments.
- Daily follow‑up on open Engineering Change Orders with related departments.
- Update new Engineering Change Order and follow‑up information every day.
- Manage long‑pending Engineering Change Orders.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Experience:
0‑3 years in a similar role within manufacturing/automotive industry or 3+ years of equivalent experience. - Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Manufacturing Engineering or related field. - Communication skills:
Intermediate. - Mathematical skills:
Intermediate. - Computer skills: PC literate, proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
