Starting Pay: 16.75/hr

Hours:
Sunday-Wednesday (every Sunday is required)

12 hour shift – 8pm-8am

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned

This position is responsible for entry level general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Applicants will be considered for any utility production opening. These openings require but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, cleaning, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Maintain clean work area which may required use of soap and high-pressure hose. Must be able to read and complete required paperwork. Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Will be required to operate front end loader, forklift, and Trailer Spotter Trucks and will be required to obtain certification to do so.
  
  Unload and dump combos to keep up with production.

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Must have at least 6-months of continuous employment within the last 2 years. Prefer 3 consecutive months Operator experience within the last 2 years.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
