Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Byron, GA, for an Injection Molding Process Technician. The technician will oversee and optimize the injection molding process to ensure efficient and high‑quality production. Responsibilities include setting up and operating molding equipment, performing machine troubleshooting and maintenance, monitoring product quality, and adhering to safety standards. Collaboration with the production team to implement process improvements and ensure production deadlines are met will also be a key component of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in setting up, troubleshooting, and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Understanding of process optimization, molding techniques, and quality control standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with tools and equipment maintenance.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve production issues effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teams and coordinate across departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in injection molding or related manufacturing processes is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
