The operator profiles (cuts and shapes) steel beams according to precise specifications and welds them on an automated production line, ensuring quality, dimensional accuracy, and safe operation throughout the process.

• Profile and weld beams on an automated production line, ensuring quality and safety.
• Ensure that all beam welds meet the quality standards defined by EN 1090 Execution Class

• Follow quality documents, production procedures, and security guidelines; use ERP for production orders; encode quality and performance controls in the appropriate software; adhere to 5S guidelines.
• Operate production equipment: roll forming line and welding line with robots.
• Assist with maintenance of robots (welding level): contact tips, welding nozzles, TCP control, torches, wires, and cleaning/oiling of unwinders.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain a clean line; participate in 5S audits.
• Manage waste by sorting good and bad profiles and minimizing waste.
• Follow ERP instructions for quality control and throughput; coordinate with painter for color specifications as needed.
• Assist with basic repairs and problem diagnosis; communicate issues to supervisor; perform simple corrective actions (e.g., tightening screws, adjusting a cell).
• Perform quality checks: periodic visual inspection of welds, dimensional checks, and other specified checks; quarantine non-conforming production and notify supervisor.
• Make coil changes, leveler setups, and adjust profiling and weld lines as required; update robot programs and verify mechanical values of stations.
• Adjust lengths, profiles, and fixture setups; manage changes to lengths, brackets, and hooks as needed; adapt welding positions with supervisor permission.

The role requires owning profiling and welding beams on an automated line.

Responsibilities include:

• Respect for safety and quality control (e.g., measurement checks, visual weld inspection, torsion and profile height checks).
• Ability to quarantine non-conforming production and work with a supervisor to address issues.
• Knowledge of machine operation, welding robots (handling, positioning, and adjustments with supervisor permission).
• TCP Torch Control, profiling adjustments to design dimensions, welding permit for small repairs, and computer literacy.

• Production workshop with noise, coils, smoke welding, arc welding, strapping, and manual load handling.
• Exposure to noise, welding smoke, and moving coils; manual material handling.
• Products include various chemicals and materials used in welding and production processes.

• Between 1 and 5 length changes per team; profile changes approximately every three teams; roughly 2 hook changes; coil changes about once per hour; hook power supply around 500/hour.
