Executive Director for Habersham County Family Connection

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred, with experience in a related field, such as social work, human services, and/or education. Must possess excellent oral, written, and computer skills. Professional management experience and proven interpersonal skills a must. Fund raising and grant writing experience preferred.

Position Reports to:

The Executive Board of the Habersham County Family Connection.

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall day to day management of Habersham County Family Connection.

Duties:
  • Mobilize financial and human resources to support program operations.
  • Develop, with input from Stakeholders, the Annual Plan.
  • Present and carry out operational plans in accordance with the Annual Plan.
  • Establish and maintain clear documentation of all program services, correspondence, and reports, including timely submission of quarterly reports for the Family Connection Partnership.
  • Carry out policies of the collaborative.
  • Provide information to the collaborative.
  • Act as a liaison among the Board Chair, the fiscal agent, and the community.
  • Take action on behalf of the collaborative to broker services.
  • Facilitate the collaborative involvement with the community organizations and governmental bodies.
  • Provide timely feedback to collaborative members.
  • Coordinate collaborative programs and meetings.
  • Attend local, regional, and state meetings, trainings, etc., as appropriate, on behalf of Habersham County Family Connection.
  • Adhere to requirements of all funding sources including but not limited to timely submission of required reports and proposals.
  • Coordinate with the fiscal agent to ensure that all expenditures are recorded and executed properly and that all budget documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Search and apply for alternate funding sources for programs as needed.
  • Establish and implement an effective marketing and public relations strategy with input from the Executive Board.
  • Issue periodic reports of accomplishments to interested stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the collaborative involvement in issues and activities surrounding the goals set forth in the Annual plan.
  • Serve as official representative of the Habersham County Family Connection.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Habersham County Family Connection Executive Board.
