YOUR DAY AS A SERVICE MANAGERYou will play a pivotal role in developing the customer service experience, team management, and strategic practices and policies. Schedule and assign daily work objectives for the service team. Monitor the performance of the service department. Maintain high quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality. Handle customer feedback immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
Administer warranty claims, review warranty policy adjustments, understand and apply warranty guidelines, ensure correct processing of claims and communicate warranty information and clarifications to customers. Effectively manage the workflow of the store. Maintain a safe work environment.
To excel in the role, candidates must possess a strong foundation in the automotive service industry with knowledge of service policies and procedures. Able to lead a team to drive overall profitability of the dealership while maintaining integrity. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in the automotive service management, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication with customers and team members, highly organized and detail-oriented individual, proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
