Interpret technical drawings and welding documentation to plan work activities.
Perform and supervise welding operations using ARC, TIG, and MIG processes in line with approved procedures.
Inspect weld preparation and completed work to ensure quality, compliance, and reliability.
Identify and mitigate welding risks, including potential deformation.
Conduct welding tests, self-checks, and report issues to line management.
Supervise and manage team members, including working hours and certification follow-up.
Share best practices, work methods, and safety standards with the team.
Lead safety talks and report training needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop; report faulty equipment for repair or replacement.
Ensure compliance with all HSEQ, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support training of new hires when required.
RequirementsStrong knowledge of welding techniques (ARC, TIG, MIG), inspection methods, and filler materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Sound understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and industry practices.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment.
