Project Manager; Infrastructure

Position: Project Manager (Infrastructure)
Location: Oakwood

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Oakwood, GA that is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to deliver a variety of enterprise technology and business initiatives, with demonstrated experience managing infrastructure related projects (e.g., cloud, platforms, networks, security), as well as non infrastructure efforts such as application deployments or process improvements. This role requires strong core project management skills, adaptability across project types, and the ability to lead cross functional teams within a PMO framework.

The ideal candidate is a well rounded PM who can flex across domains based on business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Certifications (e.g., PMP) are not required;
Experience matters more than credentials

* Microsoft Project is the primary tool and proficiency is a non-negotiable

* Agile knowledge is fine, but:
Agile purists are not a fit;
Team primarily operates using waterfall methodology, with flexibility

* Ability to clearly explain how these have been applied in real projects

* Must be highly tactical, not purely high-level or agile-only

* Should be able to support PMO maturity and structure

Must be comfortable managing:

* Infrastructure projects

* Network and data center work

Demonstrated understanding of:

* WBS

* RAID logs

* MoSCoW prioritization

* Change control

* PMBOK principles

Must be able to:

* Build detailed project plans

* Create and manage WBS (Work Breakdown Structures)

* Perform resource planning and balancing

* Forecast downstream impacts months in advance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
