Network Cloud Operations is responsible for 24x7 operations, administration and maintenance of server infrastructure in a Linux‑based environment. The role involves deployment of software updates on the cloud platform, covering Linux OS, BIOS/firmware, Open Stack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, Maria
DB, and other components.
- Work focusing on software, maintenance, and operations of systems used by / for clients to conduct business.
- Perform feasibility assessments, create requirements, manage projects, and integrate and test technical solutions for software.
- Broad‑spectrum skill set across Linux, KVM, Open Stack, Kubernetes, containers, cloud infrastructure, and server monitoring; 3‑5 years of production‑environment experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in systems administration of Linux, cloud, Open Stack, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Open Stack modules:
Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, Fuel. - Knowledge of high availability, DRS, fault tolerance, scalability, reliability, and shared resources.
- Creating, reviewing, approving, and implementing changes in NC server environment.
- Restoration of applications/services in NC infrastructure from hardware/Open Stack/OS perspective during outages or service degradation.
- Python and shell scripting.
- Deployment of NC server infrastructure (Linux, Open Stack & Kubernetes).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins, Git Hub.
- Coordination with OS vendors, development teams, production support teams for root‑cause analysis and configuration changes.
- Coordination with hardware vendors (Dell, HP) for hardware replacement.
- High level of customer focus, positive attitude, and working with diverse peers / customers / vendors.
- Ready to work in 24/7 rotational shift operations.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work across diverse teams and regions/cultures.
- Preferable certifications in Linux, Open Stack, and Kubernetes systems administration.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills (verbal and written).
