Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 600employees.

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous optimization of IT infrastructure across company sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the reliable operation of site-specific IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, client systems, and peripheral devices.
• Analyze and independently resolve complex issues related to network, hardware, and software environments.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize network components (switches, firewalls, access points) as well as server and storage solutions.
• Plan and implement cross-site IT projects and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and processes.
• Implement and monitor IT security policies, ensuring compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and continuously develop internal IT standards.
• Provide IT support and advisory services to internal teams and deliver training sessions as required.
• Coordinate external service providers and vendors to ensure service quality and performance.

Education, Qualifications & Professional

Experience:

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), a four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
• In lieu of a degree, at least five years of professional experience in a comparable IT systems administration role may be considered.
