Technical Business Analyst (Dynamics 365)

Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL / Vienna, VA – Hybrid Onsite
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description Overview- Highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in retail banking and payment systems and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
- Hybrid role bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of banking and payment related projects leveraging Dynamics 365.
- Business Requirement Gathering – collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for retail banking and payment processes.
- Azure Dev Ops Backlog Refinement – maintain and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize backlog items for development teams.
- Solution Design – support translate business needs into functional specifications for Dynamics 365 modules:
Finance, Customer Service, Payments. - Process Mapping & Optimization – analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.
- Integration & Data Management – support integration of Dynamics 365 with core banking systems, payment gateways and third‑party applications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance – develop test cases, coordinate UAT, and ensure solutions meet functional and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation & Training – prepare user guides, process documentation, and deliver training sessions for end users.
- Compliance & Security – ensure adherence to banking regulations, PCI DSS standards and data privacy requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or related field. - Experience:
5 years as a Business Analyst in retail banking or payments domain; 3 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Operations, Customer Engagement. - Technical
Skills:
strong understanding of payment systems, card processing and banking operations; familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, API integrations, data migration and SQL. - Soft Skills:
excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile methodology and tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops).
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT and ACH payment standards.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365.
