We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Geospatial Software Engineer to design and develop cutting‑edge software solutions that harness the power of geospatial data. In this role you will create tools and applications to process, analyze, and visualize geospatial information, enabling impactful decision‑making across a variety of domains.
Position Responsibilities- Design and develop geospatial software applications
- Process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data
- Ensure integration of geospatial data with other systems
- Maintain and optimize geospatial databases and tools
- Develop custom algorithms for geospatial analysis
- Collaborate with teams to define software requirements for geospatial projects
- Proficiency in GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Strong knowledge of spatial data structures and formats
- Expertise in geospatial programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
- Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatia Lite)
- Experience with geospatial web services (e.g., WMS, WFS)
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and projections
- Experience with remote sensing technologies
- Familiarity with cloud‑based geospatial platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Earth Engine)
- Automation of geospatial workflows
- Knowledge of machine learning for geospatial analysis
- Strong data visualization skills for geospatial data
- Understanding of open‑source geospatial libraries and frameworks
