Client Support Aide; part time - Oakwood

Hourly Rate: $15.39

Under general supervision, monitors adult female residents with developmental disabilities in a residential/home life environment in a 24-hour/7-day facility. Observes, documents, and reports resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. Trains and assists residents in basic daily living skills. Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Duties include taking vitals, assisting with medications, daily living skills, and community outings.

Will work up to 29 hours/week. Hours for this position will vary and may include night shift work.

Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points.
• Must possess CNA certification.
• Minimum 6 months of social service experience.
• Must be able to lift with no restrictions for client care.
• Experience with home visiting and/or working with the developmentally delayed population preferred but not required.
