Environmental Services (EVS) Aide - Archbold Living Pelham

Environmental Services (EVS) Aide provides regular cleaning and sanitary maintenance for hospital patients and staff, including spill cleanup and trash handling, while ensuring safe practices with cleaning supplies and chemicals. Strong focus on patient, family, coworker, and visitor interactions to support a positive patient experience.

• Regular maintenance of clean and sanitary areas for hospital patients and staff
• Spot cleaning outside of regular maintenance duties
• Gathering and emptying of trash
• Cleaning of spills and smudges across different types of surfaces
• Maintain cleaning supplies
• Understand and practice safe methods of handling cleaning supplies
• Know best practices for cleaning chemicals
• Demonstrate excellent customer service as patient, family, coworker, and visitor contact will occur
• May perform other duties as required
• Contribute to an excellent patient experience in the hospital

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in cleaning services preferred
• Compassionate and caring attitude
