Position Overview:
Med Link Banks is seeking a reliable and customer-service-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and organized front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and update patient records
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
- Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Support clinic operations by collaborating with providers and clinical staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical front office or customer service role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinical
Works experience is a plus) - Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
