There are multiple positions available under this posting. This is an Interdiction Response Team (IRT) position that may be filled as a CO1, CO2, or CO3 depending upon qualifications.

This position is open to the public for interested parties with Military, Law Enforcement, and Previous Correctional Officer experience.

The positions are located throughout the state, in the North, Southeast, and Southwest.

Comments/ Notes:
This Correctional Officer position is assigned to work at a Close or Special Mission Prison.

High school diploma/GED, and any combination of training and experience which would enable the applicant to meet the minimum standards of the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.).
