The Costing Analyst Specialist is responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning, cost analysis, and reporting processes. This role analyzes and monitors cost-related data, prepares detailed cost reports, assists in forecasting, and identifies opportunities to improve financial efficiency. The Costing Analyst Specialist works closely with stakeholders in the U.S. and Korea to support strategic decision‑making, ensure accurate cost allocation, and enhance operational performance.

This position will actively support additional tasks during the company’s settlement periods and work under the direction of the Head of Finance Management.

• Analyze cost performance and provide financial insights to support data‑driven decisions.
• Conduct cost estimations for new and existing products.
• Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual costs and report findings.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing, material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Recommend cost‑saving opportunities to improve profitability.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting.
• Assist in annual budgeting and collaborate with department leaders to track budget performance.
• Support monthly closing processes by ensuring financial data accuracy and timely submission.
• Benchmark and analyze best practices, successful strategies, and innovative approaches from comparable industries.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, ad‑hoc projects, and requests from internal stakeholders and Korean headquarters.
• Maintain cost databases and update costing models regularly.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and cost accounting standards.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to maintain accurate cost records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
• Experience with SAP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and present complex financial data clearly.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.

• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related finance role preferred.
• Manufacturing or production industry experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with procurement, production, or inventory teams is a plus.
