Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing assignments of the boathouse.
  • Ensure exceptional professionalism and customer service are always provided to all guests and team members.
  • Take responsibility for the overall guest experience at Fishing operation.
  • Create a fun atmosphere for guests to enjoy through safety briefings and dispatching/receiving of jon boat rentals and kayak rentals.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork is completed and properly stored.
  • Take care of all equipment and properly store/clean at the end of the day.
  • Perform daily sales transactions and audits within the ticketing system (BOS), while accurately maintaining and balancing a cash bank
  • Handle cash and retail sales in a professional and accurate manner
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and all major holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Completion of a background check
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and/or walking for long periods of time
  • Moderate lifting, bending, and pushing, upwards to 50 lbs
  • Sweep, dust, and pick up/dispose of trash.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, sun, and darkness with limited lighting.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Be able to work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity, including the ability to listen carefully to and resolve guest issues to the satisfaction of the affected guests.
  • Be able to identify potential guest issues and then develop methodologies to prevent or limit the impact of those guest issues during the course of guest visits.
  • Be able to assimilate complex information and data for various sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
  • Be able to effectively listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
  • Be able to work with and understand financial information and data and perform basic math functions.
  • Be able to convey information and ideas clearly and effectively so that ownership of high levels of guest service is understood to be the role of each individual team member.
