About the job
We help seniors and their families downsize, move forward, and breathe easier — and we do it with a great team vibe. Expect meaningful work, good laughs, and a fast pace. If you like organizing, thrifting/antiques, making spaces feel calm again, and working with a team that actually enjoys each other… you’ll fit right in. This is a part‑time, on‑call role supporting senior downsizing projects and online auction prep.
Whatyou’ll do
- Sort, organize, and pack household items for move prep, donation, disposal, and auction
- Help set up online auction items (photograph items, write simple descriptions — we’ll train you)
- Assist with light cleaning, staging, labeling, and “making sense of the chaos”
- Support auction pickup days and basic customer interactions
- Follow clear checklists, safety guidelines, and respectful professionalism in clients’ homes
We are not movers. We use professional movers for heavy furniture and large items. You should be comfortable lifting/carrying up to ~25 lbs, climbing stairs, and being on your feet.
Scheduling (read this part)This role is as‑needed/on‑call to start — meaning no guaranteed hours at first because workload varies week to week. The upside: as we grow, our most reliable team members get first call, steadier hours, and opportunities to become a Lead.
You’re a great fit if you…- Are dependable, punctual, and kind (we work with seniors and families in sensitive moments)
- Love organizing, problem‑solving, and working with your hands
- Have reliable transportation + a smartphone
- Can pass a background check
- Can work daytime shifts and occasionally on Saturdays
- Can handle clutter/dusty environments (PPE provided)
- Great phone photos and an eye for “what would sell”
- Retail/restaurant/hospitality experience (you know how to show up and hustle)
- Estate sale, auction, or reselling experience
Apply with a short note: what city you’re in, weekday availability, and why you’d be a great fit.
