Customer Service Rep

Job Summary
Travel Centers of America has been a trusted home for truck drivers and motorists for over 50 years. Our Truck Service team, across 280 locations, delivers fuel, food, maintenance, and essential services. As a Truck Service Advisor (TSA), you provide first‑rate service, write work orders, suggest purchase upsells, and handle over‑the‑counter transactions.
In this role, you can expect to:- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
- Show extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
- Use strong suggestive selling skills to generate revenue while displaying high integrity.
- Write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions; properly write up ETA work orders; secure purchase orders, prepare and communicate quotes.
- Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
- Prepare end‑of‑shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
- Maintain safety for both customers and team members.
- A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in a repair or parts shop preferred.
- Strong suggestive selling skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Pay Range $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Typical Physical DemandsThe role requires regular talking and hearing. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing are common.
