Position SummaryThis role is critical to ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance in our U.S.
-based manufacturing facility. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for building the local quality management system, driving in‑process quality control, leading customer complaint handling and problem resolution, and managing quality improvement initiatives to ensure that products meet standards specific to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or other precision electrical equipment manufacturing industries.
The ideal candidate should have experience in factory quality control management, be familiar with BESS, battery modules, inverters, or electrical assembly, and demonstrate strong skills in problem‑solving, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesEHS Development & Compliance
- Build and improve EHS systems to meet U.S. regulations and internal standards.
- Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, and emergency response drills.
- Drive EHS awareness through training, audits, and internal communications.
- Monitor PPE usage, equipment safety, and safe behaviors in production areas.
- Investigate incidents/near‑misses and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee hazardous materials, waste disposal, and environmental compliance.
- Execute maintenance plans for electrical, water, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Manage external vendors and property management for stable facility operations.
- Assist engineering with facility upgrades and infrastructure projects.
- Serve as the primary contact for EHS permits and filings (local/state/federal).
- Oversee site services including security, cleaning, and sanitation.
- Draft initial safety policies and lead EHS training before full‑scale production.
- Partner with HR/Admin to promote safety culture, wellness, and sustainability.
- Evaluate EHS performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related technical field. - Experience:
5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing; greenfield/startup experience highly preferred. - Knowledge:
Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and U.S. regulatory standards. - Technical:
Familiarity with factory infrastructure (power, HVAC, fire systems). - Skills:
Strong communication skills with a proactive, accountable work ethic. - Language:
Fluent in English for effective internal and agency communication.
