Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia, Inc. (TACG) — a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation — is looking for a driven Production Engineer to join our team in Pendergrass, GA.
If you enjoy solving real manufacturing problems, leading improvement projects, and seeing your engineering decisions come to life on the floor, this role was built for you.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing- Evaluating manufacturing processes for cost effectiveness and feasibility
- Leading Kaizen and cost reduction initiatives
- Coordinating engineering changes, routings, and quality follow-up
- Designing equipment and tooling using CAD (3D modeling & simulation)
- Supporting machining processes, CNC equipment, robotics, and tooling design
- Managing tooling projects from concept through implementation
- Supporting plant layout changes and expansion projects
- Driving cost-per-piece reduction initiatives
- Applying TPS, PDCA, 5S, JIT, and Lean Manufacturing principles daily
This role serves as a technical resource within Production Engineering and may lead major projects depending on level and experience.
🎓 What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing or production engineering experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations
Preferred
- 2–5+ years of machining or production engineering experience
- Previous engineering internship experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with CNC equipment and cutting tools
- Project management exposure and cost reduction experience
- Stable global organization with strong manufacturing roots
- Clear structure, clear expectations, and real accountability
- Hands‑on engineering where your work directly impacts production
