Overview
Job Title: Sheet metal Technician
Join a dedicated team as a Sheet metal Technician working on a fleet of helicopters at Fort Moore. This position involves working with UH-60, MH-60, H-60, AH-64, Blackhawk, and Seahawk models.
Responsibilities- Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on UH-60 and other military helicopters.
- Troubleshoot airframe issues to ensure aircraft safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with Avionics Technicians to maintain aircraft integrity.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with UH-60 helicopters or any military sheet metal background.
- Possession of an A&P license with relevant helicopter experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and airframe repair skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Blackhawk, Seahawk, and AH-64 models is advantageous.
- 15 Tango military occupational specialty is a plus.
This is a long-term position offering stability and growth opportunities. Enjoy the convenience of not having to provide your own tools, with the potential for conversion to a permanent role after six months.
Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate controlled hangar on base at Fort Moore. The environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to varying temperatures.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Moore, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 – $31.00/hr.
