• Provide daily repair, maintenance, calibration and installation support for physical measurement instruments
• Perform in‑house bench repairs while handling field service calls with limited supervision
• Travel within local and regional needs, including overnight trips
• Offer technical support via phone to customers and field personnel
• Provide training to customers and internal personnel on instrument operation and maintenance
• Document all repairs, product failures and improvements for compliance
• Assist in developing and executing preventative maintenance procedures
• Maintain repair parts inventory in the assigned region

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 1 year of experience (2+ years preferred) in field support of physical measurement instrumentation
• Strong technical knowledge of physical measurement instruments (testing machines, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues and provide effective solutions

This full‑time, non‑exempt position includes a comprehensive benefits package. The starting salary range is $79,000 to $81,000 annually, paid semi‑monthly. Additional variable compensation includes an incentive plan based on company and service performance. The position also includes a company car with a fuel card, company‑paid cell phone, and paid personal days.
