Position Summary
Young Harris College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Law, beginning August 1, 2026. We seek a dynamic teacher‑scholar with the ability to teach a range of foundational and upper‑level law courses. The ideal candidate must be able to teach Business Law, Estate Planning, and Employment Law. The ability to also teach Introduction to the American Legal System and Constitutional Law is preferred.
Additionally, the new hire will be instrumental in shaping the future of Young Harris’s legal studies programs.
Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D.) in a related field. Candidates should have a passion for teaching, a record of or potential for scholarly distinction, and a commitment to service.
Applicants should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of at least three references. Official transcripts are required of the chosen hire prior to beginning employment.
