An established Episcopal day school, St. George’s Episcopal School is located 50 miles south of metropolitan Atlanta, and is situated on over 40 acres in Milner, Ga. SGES is a dynamic PK–12th grade school with enrollment of over 300 students from 6 counties. With a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, SGES strives to enroll children from diverse cultural, ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds.
We are currently seeking a new faculty member to teach advanced Math courses in the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience and success in teaching advanced placement courses, along with a passion for teaching. The courses in question include, but are not limited to:
Algebra III, AP Statistics, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. SGES values collaboration, creativity, positivity, academic rigor, and a student-centered educational experience. Candidates with independent school teaching experience preferred.
- Teach the specified advanced math courses according to the school curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Current teaching credential in mathematics or equivalent experience.
- Success in teaching AP courses in an independent or K‑12 setting.
- Strong commitment to student-centered learning and academic rigor.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
