JOB SUMMARY:

The Randolph County School System is seeking a High School Science Teacher to join our roster of experienced, motivated, and effective teaching professionals. The teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing engaging lessons that address the academic needs and rigor of all students. In addition, providing a positive learning environment that encourages lifelong learners and understanding of scientific principles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Science Education, or a related field;

2. Valid Georgia Teacher certification or Charter Waiver Eligible;

3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and the Board may find appropriate.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

4. Excellent communication and organizational skills;

5. Ability to relate to and motivate all students in a positive manner with respect;

6. Ability to effectively navigate and utilize a wide range of educational and career-related technology tools, software applications, and digital platforms while engaging students;

7. Ability to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
