Job SummaryThe full‑time history faculty member will teach history classes within the Department of Arts and Humanities on the Georgia Southern University - East Georgia Campus. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face and online formats. Travel between campus locations may be necessary.
Required Qualifications- Earned Master’s degree (or higher) in History or closely related field with at least eighteen graduate‑level semester credit hours of specific work in History required.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
- Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching.
- Successful college teaching experience is desirable.
- Ability to teach face‑to‑face and online courses.
