The Georgia Southern‑East Georgia Campus in Swainsboro provides more than 1,700 students access to affordable, quality higher education. The campus offers a tight‑knit community with residential options. The full‑time history faculty member will teach history classes within the Department of Arts and Humanities on the Georgia Southern University - East Georgia Campus. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face and online formats. Travel between campus locations may be necessary.

• Earned Master’s degree (or higher) in History or closely related field with at least eighteen graduate‑level semester credit hours of specific work in History required.
• Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
• Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching.

• Successful college teaching experience is desirable.
• Ability to teach face‑to‑face and online courses.
