Position: WEEKLY PAY! Subs Needed in Catoosa Co. Schools
Location: Rossville

Many Substitute Roles are Open at Catoosa County Schools.

Kelly Education is hiring substitutes for many roles in Catoosa County Schools.

The district is in need of:

  • Substitute Teachers

  • Substitute Paraprofessionals/Teachers Aids

  • Substitute Custodians

  • Substitute Food Service workers

  • Choose one role or work all four!

    Minimum requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Must be at least 18 for Elementary and Middle school roles

    • Must be at least 21 for High School roles

    • Must be able to pass a background check.

    Pay rates:
    • Substitute Teacher (HS Diploma/Equivalent or Associates): $75/day

    • Substitute Teacher (Bachelors/Masters/ED. Specialist/Doctorate): $100/day

    • Substitute Paraprofessional: $9/hour

    • Substitute Custodian: $10/hour

    • Substitute Food Service: $10/hour

    Teacher Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.

    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

    • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.

    • Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.

    Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.

    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

    • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.

    • Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.

    Custodial Responsibilities:
    • Assume duties of the district custodian in accordance with school district rules, and Kelly policies

    • Comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements

    Food Service Worker Responsibilities:
    • Assume duties of the district food service worker in accordance with school district policies, school rules, and Kelly policies.

    • Cooperate with the School Food Service Manager to provide a positive and inviting dining experience for students and faculty.
