The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for a CAREER COACH at Richmond Hill High School for the 2026-27 School Year. The successful candidate must meet all certification requirements in the appropriate field of education.
Position Overview
The Career Coach establishes and maintains collaborations between Bryan County Schools and local businesses/industry with a focus on student development, education, job/workforce readiness and career goal attainment.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field;
Valid teacher certification preferred;
Background in education, business, manufacturing, or workforce development;
Three (3) years' experience in job creation, training, work skills and/or workforce development, and working with students or young adults.

include but are not limited to: planning and managing multiple projects; training, developing, and supervising students; utilizing coaching, training, and workshop skills; working knowledge of high school programming and graduation requirements; developing and maintaining positive working relationships; facilitating communications amidst diverging opinions; meeting deadlines and schedules; providing direction and leadership; setting priorities; and maintaining consistent and dependable workplace attendance.

Job Duties
Design and maintain a system to identify students who could be supported through a career placement to include scheduling, monitoring, logistics coordination, and the development of work skills readiness required to be successful in the workplace;
Establish personalized support systems in collaboration with counselors and teachers to include developing individual graduation plans for students with a focus on post-secondary career and workforce readiness;
Work with students and families to develop career goals and goal benchmarks for success;
Establish partnerships with businesses and industry to identify needs to support economic growth;
Support businesses in hiring and training students to include logistics in payroll and worker's compensation insurance;
Organize career/job fairs and college fairs;
Organize celebrations to recognize students who meet Career Ready Requirements;
Act as a consistent positive public relations agent for Bryan County Schools by attending workshops and events;
Perform all other duties as assigned.
