Youth Minister

Overview

Harmony Grove Baptist Church is a growing church in a growing community, located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Youth Minister to lead our vibrant youth ministry. This role involves guiding middle and high school students in their spiritual growth, fostering a sense of community, and helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence through faith.

• Plan and lead weekly youth group activities and events.
• Develop Bible studies and lessons.
• Organize retreats and mission trips.
• Provide spiritual guidance.
• Recruit and train volunteers, partner with parents, and build relationships with other community churches.
• Manage youth ministry budget and engage with the community through various channels, including our school system.
• Teach the Bible, assist with Sunday school curriculum, and participate in staff and leadership meetings.

• Committed Christians with a growing faith.
• Understanding of adolescent development.
• Excellent communication skills and creativity in engaging youth.
• Ability to mentor young people effectively.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a team and commit to the church's beliefs.
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work, including overnight events.
