Two cancer centers are seeking a Medical Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Central Georgia.

This assignment is for a board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage from April 1, 2026, through October 2, 2026, with the option to extend for an additional six months. The position is focused on adult patients, with documentation completed in Cerner. The schedule consists of five eight-hour onsite days per week. Responsibilities include seeing patients in the clinic and overseeing medication administration.

Call is required one weekend per month, from Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m., primarily for outpatient coverage with minimal hospital consults. The need is due to a vacancy, and while a currently licensed provider is preferred, time may be allowed for licensing the right candidate.
