Coastal Health is currentlyهای searching for a Primary Care Physician to join our growing, patient‑centered team in Blackshear, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, compassionate, and well‑established practice committed to delivering exceptional care.

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical exams, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a specified Jorge patient population.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team that includes 1 Nurse Practitioner and 1 part‑time physician.
• Participate in health promotion, 氧 education, and prevention programs as needed.
• Follow established departmental policies and safety/infection control standards.

This is an outpatient‑only position – no inpatient coverage required.

• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice in Florida.
• Have no history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension.
• Have a current, unrestricted DEA registration.

• Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) with 3–5 years of directly related experience (including residency).
• Federal DEA Certification.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in a specified area of medical specialty.

• Strong diagnostic, treatment, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of medical care standards, pharmaceuticals, and patient care protocols.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience training or advising clinical staff is a plus.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
