Job Description:

Optimize and generate clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail layout drawings based on architectural and engineering plans for the fabrication of roof/floor trusses and components. Knowledge of MiTek software required.

• Must have 5+ years of designing trusses with Mitek industry software.
• Broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals, wood truss roof and floor design and building materials. Design optimized projects with or Mitek design software
• Basic CAD knowledge
• Specify Beams, connecting hardware and other related products
• Request sealed engineering drawings and/or repair details and follow up.
• Strong visualization skills and ability to picture complex conditions in wood structures from plans and specifications.
• Effectively communicate with architects, engineers, customers and fellow team members.
