Base pay range$40,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
As a Jimmy Britt Service Advisor, you will own the customer’s experience in the service lane. You’re the first point of contact with our guests regarding their vehicle status, repairs, diagnostics, and repairs. We’ll train you to be well‑versed in our product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. - Oversee service orders and the flow of the drive lane
- Take ownership of the customer’s experience by carrying out additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression
- Utilize all communication methods (phone, text, email, video, and in‑person) to keep the customer updated on the status of their vehicle
- Leverage dealership tools to communicate with technicians and customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction
- Assist the service lane team in answering inbound customer inquiries and scheduling maintenance
- Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently utilized upon customer needs, distributing work efficiently
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
- Oversee and participate in quality control
- Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions
- Maintain top‑tier CSI scores and help deliver experiences that generate positive reviews
- Oversee administration of warranty claims
- Encourage company policies and adhere to Jimmy Britt standards that maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and collaborate with both management and technicians
- Time management skills
- Organized and friendly personality
- Excellent communication skills with customers and guests
- Ability to multitask despite environmental distractions
- Ability to present options for service and repairs and explain offerings
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Well‑groomed personal appearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a service advisor preferred but not required
- Bilingual is a plus
