FMS Acquisition Logistician, Senior

• Create, modify, and manage depot maintenance and modification schedules for C-17 fleet.
• Create and update aircraft induction and delivery schedules for depot maintenance facilities.
• Effectively manage customer interactions, demonstrating problem-solving skills to address diverse needs.
• Develop supportable installation schedules for new capability modifications.
• Ensure all logistics elements are in place or predicted to meet C-17 modification and maintenance schedules.
• Develop and manage parts delivery schedules to support projects.
• Review time compliance technical orders to ensure logistical supportability, timeliness, relevancy, and cost efficiency.
• Consult with contracting personnel on logistics supportability and technical accuracy of contracted actions.
• Evaluate contractor against agreed upon performance criteria and annotate performance evaluation; provide PAR/CPAR inputs.
• Brief MAJCOM, Center, Directorate, Program Office, and customer on matters involving C-17 fleet management, configuration control, aircraft availability and capability.
• Provide monthly current/future depot possessed numbers.
• Effectively track aircraft depot down time using Aircraft Maintenance systems.
• Provide product assistance to the PM and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM’s duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager.
• Assist sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material.
• Demonstrate knowledge of AFI 23-101, Air Force Material Management Policy, AFMAN 23-122, Material Management Procedures, and DoDM 4140.01, VOL 6, DoD Supply Chain Material Management Procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), IAW Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Standard Process for Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM).
• Serve as the Logistics specialist for heavy maintenance and supply activities, principles, regulations, and systems.
• Coordinate material needs and resolves shortfalls related to heavy maintenance, leveraging knowledge of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Parts and Repair Ordering System (PROS) processes.
• Monitor and provide recommendations on outstanding
  -103 and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) requests, ensuring timely resolution for maintenance activities.
• Provide logistics support to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, addressing supply-related issues and supporting country teams as needed.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in heavy maintenance operations.
• Complete Government Furnished Property (GFP) inventories, document findings and ensure timely correction of discrepancies, In Accordance With (IAW), Department of the Air Force (DAFMAN) 23-119.
• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) GFP Reports, procedures, and policy data.
• Assist in developing methods and improvement procedures for storage, issuing, and providing disposition instructions of GFP according to regulation.
• Ensure compliance with Spare Parts Requirements, Spare Modeling, and Spare Requirement Review Board (SRRB).
• Assist with Item Unique Identification (IUID), MIL-STD-129/130 process.
• Provide assistance to the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP.
• Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. Assigned personnel shall perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
• Assist with the Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP) and inter-service screening.
