Responsibilities- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Performing oil changes, checking, and topping off all fluids, checking tire pressures, air, and cabin filters in a timely manner.
- Performing safety, general service inspections identifying fluid leakage, tire wear, service light identification and unperformed maintenance.
- Flushing and servicing of all fluid operated or containing systems. Drive belt, coolant hose and light bulb replacements. Perform tire rotation, mounting and balancing and have basic TPMS knowledge.
- Basic brake inspection of pad and shoe wear, rotor and drum wear limits, fluid leakage.
- Responsible for keeping shop area neat, clean, and able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.
- You may also be asked to assist our more experienced auto mechanics with more complicated repairs.
- 3-5 years of proven auto technician experience
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools essential for diagnosing and repairing vehicles efficiently
- Experience conducting vehicle inspections, performing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset
- Proven 3-5 Years Auto Technician Experience
