Membership Coordinator – Sea Palms St. Simons
Base Pay Range$22.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Reports to:
Director of Membership
- Assist the Director of Membership with planning, coordinating, and executing member events.
- Attend events to ensure smooth execution and take photography for marketing purposes.
- Create and distribute flyers, brochures, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Maintain regular communication with members through email campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
- Manage the club’s social media accounts, including creating posts and analyzing engagement metrics.
- Support the onboarding process for new members by managing applications, CRM entries, and creating membership cards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member information.
- Assist with processing member payments and updating payment methods.
- Design, create, and update member forms, including pool passes and other administrative documents.
- Manage member-facing platforms such as the member website, mobile app, and TV portal.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent communication and cohesive member experiences.
- Design and send member email campaigns for club updates, special offers, and event announcements.
- Attend weekly BEO and Sales & Marketing meetings.
- Create BEOs for member and golf events, coordinating with the Sales team to secure event locations.
- Order event and office supplies, such as gift cards, member cards, and equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and local businesses for partnerships and event support.
- Answer phones, channel calls, and address inquiries.
- Support the Director of Membership with scheduling, vendor invoicing, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and scan records, including sign-in sheets for fitness and pool areas.
- Greet members and guests visiting the Membership Office.
- Address member concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage relationships with members, vendors, and local businesses.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to address member needs professionally and promptly.
- Knowledge of club amenities, rules, and benefits.
- Degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience with tools and platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, Salto, Members First, Amadeus Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Jonas (CRM and POS).
Less than 25% travel required. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and be able to run off‑property errands with minimal notice.
Work Hours and SchedulePosition may require flexibility in terms of work hours, including some nights and weekends. While the standard work week is typically 35‑40 hours, the role may frequently require additional hours. Specific schedule and hours will be determined at the discretion of the company based on business needs.
PhysicalFrequent sitting, standing, and moving around the facilities. Handling objects, products and equipment. Using keyboards and other office computer equipment. Occasionally pushing, pulling and lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds. Must communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must observe details at close range.
OtherMust speak English fluently. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Mathematical skills include basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages and variances. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are often used. Ability to effectively multi‑task.
