Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for a variety of accounting tasks that contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports. With guidance from a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), this role provides an excellent opportunity for budding accountants to refine their skills, broaden their knowledge, and pave their career path in the accounting field.

Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.

Maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Support audit and tax preparation functions.

Handle ad-hoc accounting projects as directed by management.

Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Previous experience in accounting or a related role is a plus.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
