Accountant
Location: 100% onsite in Peachtree City, GA
Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 / year

We’re seeking a hands-on Accountant to oversee the entire accounting function for a U.S.
-based manufacturing organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and ownership — managing everything from daily accounting operations to month-end close and audit preparation.
You’ll serve as the sole accounting professional for a small but globally connected business, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insight that supports both local and international operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of accounting, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in Quick Books Desktop.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Analyze variances and identify the root causes of discrepancies or unusual trends.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Track and reconcile manufacturing costs, inventory, and spare parts.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure project revenues and expenses are properly recorded.
- Lead year-end audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Assist with insurance renewals, vendor contracts, and administrative finance documentation.
- Support limited HR or operational activities in a small-team environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
. - Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop and Microsoft Excel
. - Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
