A technology company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. This group is responsible for accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting and plays a key role in supporting a fast-paced, data-driven business. This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager and will focus heavily on month-end close activities, compensation-related accounting, & payroll.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end close process, with primary ownership over payroll, benefits, bonuses, and other compensation-related accounting
• Prepare and post journal entries for on-cycle and off-cycle payroll, including bonuses and severance
• Maintain payroll and compensation schedules and record required accruals
• Record payroll-related cash activity, including taxes, benefits funding, and retirement contributions
• Prepare monthly headcount and compensation reports; validate employee movement and salary changes
• Assist with bonus accrual calculations and updates for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
• Perform account reconciliations and support general expense accounting
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across accounting systems and workflows
• Support internal and external audits, SEC-related requests, and special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data
• Experience with Net Suite, Coupa, and/or Black Line is a plus
