• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services;
  Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax; experience completing individual returns; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, chat); ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with virtual tools (video, phone and chat)
• Strong communication skills in person, by phone and in writing
• Must meet continuing education requirements and all applicable IRS/state requirements
